Last week in the nearby forest: some curious fox puppies were playing just a few meters away from the path. At this age they seem too curious to just run away if someone aims a camera at them.

Last week in the nearby forest: some curious fox puppies were playing just a few meters away from the path. At this age they seem too curious to just run away if someone aims a camera at them.
An alder fly lives for 1 to 2 years – but only 2 to 3 weeks outside as a fly outside the water. Once the larva hatches from the egg, it drops in the water and stays there for the majority of its life.
Another frequent visitor on our balcony. Due to his “hairstyle” we call him Elvis.Recently he sometimes comes with a friend (which we call Boris now).

Last weekend on a little lake in the forest: a young dragonfly is hanging on the grass to inflate and dry the wings. Shot on my Sony ILCE-7RM3 with the FE 90mm F2.8 G OSS Macro; Edited in Aurora HDR.
The ghost of the lake is an empty dragonfly larva in the moss. The larva is usually hiding under water in the mud – but one day those spacey creatures get out in the sun and a dragonfly makes her way out of it. Shot
